Eco-Beautiful Weddings in Brides Magazine

We are so excited to see our name in the current issue of Brides Magazine! We were mentioned alongside Jennifer’s Earth-Friendly Wedding Blog and Tracy’s Recycled Bride blog. Not to mention a couple pages after us came our green friend Dana LaRue from the Broke-Ass Bride (or AKA the Green-Ass Bride here in Eco-Beautiful Land) as she gave some great money-savings tips (and some were green too)! Check out the article here:

Happy Greening Everyone! And a big hugs and thanks to wonderful editors over at Brides!

Hi Ho Cherry-O!

Tomorrow, Jed and I are headed out to Flathead Lake, Montana for some much needed wedding planning. If you have not noticed, one of the highlight for us will be tasting the local beer, wine, and food. The shores of Flathead Lake are filled with fruit trees. Some orchards grow peaches, plums, apples, and pears, but the cherries are king.

Over the past week I have been talking to the local bakeries about dessert options for the reception. I want the guests to be able to enjoy local Montana flavor. July happens to be the beginning of cherry season. It looks like something combining the local cherries and apples is going to win out!

Personally, I can’t wait :)
